our story

It started with a birthday tradition.

Giving your pre-loved things a new life should be as easy as ordering takeout.

"When I was a kid, my mom used to donate clothes on my birthday. I used to wonder why we did this just once a year. Everyone I knew wanted to give more often - what got in the way was the hassle. What to donate, where it should go, who to call, and finding a free afternoon to drive it over. So I built the version where you don't have to think about any of that. You book it like a takeout order, and we handle the rest. That's Share At Door Step." Anushka · Founder, Share At Door Step

Donating should be simple. Book a pickup, hand over your things, and find out which local organization they went to. As easy as ordering takeout or shopping online.

That idea started in India more than 10 years ago, with the first 150 pickups done by Anushka herself. It grew across India's metro cities, then Singapore, then the United Kingdom. Along the way, 350+ companies in India and Singapore partnered with us on take-back programs and employee giving. Now we're bringing it to the Bay Area.

The product has never been the pickup. It's the feeling you get when your things reach the right hands. The pickup is just how we deliver it.

what we believe

Values we pack into every pickup

Giving should feel great

Not like a chore, not like guilt - like a state of flow. Every product decision starts with protecting that feeling.

Trust is the product

Organizations chosen with care, and a note telling you which one received your things. You should never wonder where they went.

Passed on, close to home

We match your things with a local organization in our network.
